While Zara Tours provides comprehensive wildlife safaris in Tanzania and Kenya, there aren’t the only places in Africa that we give travelers the opportunity to see, explore and experience. The continent of Africa is vast, with many countries and cultures, and for people that want to engage with more of it, we offer a variety of different tours to give you more than just the spectacular wildlife. If you’ve ever wanted to travel down the Nile, or see the famous gorillas of Africa, our Uganda and Rwanda journey is for you.

Two Countries 14 Days

Uganda and Rwanda are both unique countries with their own legacies and histories, as well as spectacular landscapes and wildlife. We let you see both of these countries and take in some of the legendary landscapes of Africa over the course of two weeks.

Our Uganda portion of the journey allows travelers to experience a trip on the Nile River, one of the largest rivers in the world, and the largest on the continent of Africa. This also gives travelers the opportunity to see Murchison Falls, one of the more memorable geological features of Uganda. Along this journey, there’s also plenty of opportunity to see animals on the river, like lions on the hunt and elephants drinking.

In Rwanda, the activities continue with sights like the Parc National des Volcans and a rare opportunity to see gorillas undisturbed in their natural habitat. There is trekking involved in this portion of the trip, so a good pair of shoes and the a bit of stamina is required, but it’s well worth the effort involved. You can even overnight in this area, and get a taste of what life is like in this area with gorillas in the environment.

Of course, we always have Kenya and Tanzania safaris for those that want a bit more emphasis put on the animal life in other parts of the African continent. It’s just a matter of looking at our many tour packages and making a decision on what appeals most to you. Africa has something for everyone, whether it’s people interested in the landscape, the culture, the wildlife, or even just trying to do some good and make a difference in people’s lives. If you want to find out more, just look at the many diverse tour options we have. We’re looking forward to making your journey to Africa one that you’ll always treasure and won’t forget!
